About Odyssey Horizons
We bring people together—face-to-face, side-by-side.
At Odyssey Horizons, we create immersive experiences that help people step out of isolation and into something shared. Our experiences are built to get people talking, exploring, solving problems and noticing the world around them—together.
Why we exist
Phones are here to stay. Isolation doesn’t have to be.
Phones make life easier in countless ways, but they also make it easier to retreat into separate worlds—even when we’re sitting beside one another. We want to be part of the resistance: using the phone as a starting point, not the destination.
At Odyssey Horizons, we bring people together through shared real-world experiences. Our immersive experiences get you out of isolation and into real adventures with friends, family or teammates. We want to keep people engaging with people, solving problems and interacting with the outside world.
We are starting simply, but we have bold plans to engage the parts of society that very easily fall victim to loneliness and social isolation—because we believe the world is better when we experience it together.
Founder perspective
Why this matters to me
The experiences I remember most are rarely passive ones. They are the moments spent moving through the world with other people—working something out, dealing with uncertainty, helping each other keep going and sharing the story afterwards.
I have always been drawn to experiences that demand presence, whether that means long days in the mountains, time on the water or taking on something that feels slightly beyond reach. Those moments remind me that genuine connection is not created by simply watching. It is created by doing.
I started Odyssey Horizons because I wanted to create more opportunities for people to feel that together.

What we believe
An experience should leave people with more than a photo.
For us, a good experience should create participation, not passive consumption. It should give people a reason to talk, contribute and connect. It should make the outside world feel interesting again.
- Talk rather than simply consume.
- Work something out together.
- Notice the world around them.
- Contribute, regardless of confidence or ability.
- Leave with a shared story.
Our design promise
Everything we create should make people more present, not less.
Shared, not solo
We design for conversation, participation and moments people can only create together.
Real-world, not passive
We want people looking up, moving around and engaging with the places and people around them.
Welcoming, not exclusive
The best experiences should give everyone a way to contribute, regardless of confidence or background.
Memorable, not disposable
We want people to leave with a real shared memory—something worth talking about afterwards.
Where we hope to go
Starting small. Thinking much bigger.
Today, Odyssey Horizons is creating experiences for friends, families and teams. That is the starting point—not the full ambition.
Over time, we want to work alongside organisations supporting people who are especially vulnerable to loneliness and social isolation, including former service personnel and people rebuilding their lives after homelessness.
We do not pretend an experience can solve loneliness on its own. But it can create a reason to leave the house, join a group, contribute to something and begin a conversation. Sometimes that first step matters.
Ready to reconnect?
Step outside and do something together.
We’re starting with experiences for friends, families and teams—but the purpose runs deeper than that. If you want to reconnect with the people around you, we’re ready for you.
